The Call for Papers is Now Closed

The 2012 Spring Technical Forum call for papers is now closed.

If Selected for The 2012 Spring Technical Forum

Authors of papers selected for publication will be notified in late January 2012. Authors whose proposals are accepted will need to:

• Submit completed papers through the manuscript submission site by April 15, 2012.
• Obtain all required company clearances and execute a copyright transfer agreement (no exceptions) prior to the April 15th deadline.
• Present the highlights of the selected paper during a Spring Technical Forum Session at The Cable Show 2012 in Boston, MA, May 21-23.
• IMPORTANT – It is important that you understand the committee bases their decision to accept the paper based on the primary author and it is expected that the primary author will present the paper. Presenter substitutions are generally not permitted – exceptions are available in extreme circumstances and at the sole discretion of the panel moderator – unapproved substitutions may result in removal from the panel.
• Speakers are responsible for their own travel and registration fees.

The 2012 Spring Technical Forum is integrated into The Cable Show 2012 taking place May 21-23, in Boston. No other conference brings together such a wide spectrum of industry technology leaders to discuss leading-edge topics with this level of detail.

• Explore new possibilities through peer review papers and invited panels– all in one place, at one time.
  
• Hear it (and read it) from the source. A joint call for technical paper proposals will be issued this fall, with selected authors invited to present the highlights of their paper during one of several technical sessions at the forum.
  
• Draw from proven expertise. A blue ribbon panel of industry technologists will jury the papers and shape the overall content of the forum. Judging will be based on the premise, reference value, content and intended audience of each paper.
